Interview of Foreign Tourist
I went to the most popular place
that the tourist will visit when they went to Kuching and the place is
waterfront. As we know, we can saw a lot of foreign tourist like to spend their
time there while enjoying the nice and beautiful sight of the building and the
Sarawak River Banks. So, waterfront is one of a place that becomes attraction
to the tourist.
Nevertheless, I managed to interview
a sibling of international tourist after my first attempt. I got lucky because
I bumped into them at a Waterfront located in Kuching, Sarawak. It was a great
opportunity to start interview with them.
I managed to conduct a simple
non-formal interview with a siblings from America, but they lives in Seoul
Korea. Mr Mike and Miss Judy. I was told
by Miss Judy that they came to Kuching for leisure time. Mr Mike said that they
love Malaysian foods. They have tasty dessert they called ABC and cendol. The
interview continued as Miss Judy said they love the night market too and they
can find many choices of street food ,souvenirs, local fruits easily at the
night market. She said they love local fruits called durian, it smell stink but
taste delicious. Other than that they love the local Kuching Cake , Kek Lapis
the colourful layered cake. It taste
awesome and they said they bought some of it, bring it home to Seoul Korea.
Next, this
siblings took a flight to Malaysia by using Malaysian Airlines transport, it
was recommended their friend actually. Their friend told about MAS good
hospitality, service, the delicious foods , comfortable seat ,entertainment and
all that positive things. They quite agree with their friend MAS is definitely
a good choice and they enjoy their service ,their cabin crews is helpful, nice
and friendly, they serve Malaysian food which is the both favourite. They plan
to stay here for five days . They said , they
have been to Malaysia before. There was two place they have visits which
is Langkawi and Malacca . Mr Mike said , this is first time visiting East part
of Malaysia and he already in love with Kuching.
In addition, these siblings chose to spend their night at Harbour Hotel because it only takes 20 minutes to drive from the airport and 5- minute walk from the Chinese History Museum. Besides, the hotel is located close to the Kuching Waterfront and other tourist spot. They said the hotel’s service is good by far. They said before this , they have been to Langkawi and Malacca and now Kuching. MR Mike told ,he enjoyed these three city because they have their own unique attraction but they do like the most to visit in Malacca because there a lot of historical places. They said ,they have done some activities like watching birds, and wildlife in their natural habitat, scuba diving and snorkeling. They look forward to do some more activities like jungle trekking, cave exploration in here.
The sibling
was finding out about Kuching from their friend. At that moment, their friends
just came back from Kuching. Their friend showed them some of his pictures while
he was in Kuching. After surfing the internet to get more information about
Kuching, Mr. Mike and Miss Judy decided to go to Kuching for the next trip.
Overall,
this siblings cheerfully said that they would love to re-visit Malaysia again
in the future and bring their parents together to experience whole new things
here .They said Malaysia is like their second home. Besides, Mr. Mike and Miss Judy will miss the food
,love their foods so definitely they will come back to taste the delicious food
and they said the local people is so nice, friendly , it makes them feel peace
